Readers will know that Mummy is a fan of WeightWatchers. She regularly doctors all our favourite food to create low points value recipes, which we usually eat quite happily, which is a pretty good measure of success in the taste stakes. Mummy is using a #systematic approach to weight loss, using WeightWatchers ProPoints as one of her tools. She was recently sent some WeightWatchers products to review, and has so far lost 1lb in 3 weeks. Here is the reason why:
- Weight Watchers Sicilian Lemonade – Mummy had one Pimms and lemonade for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, 2 ProPoints. We polished off the rest.
- Weight Watchers Italian Red Grape & Pomegranate Cordial 0 ProPoints – That was so delicious with some fizzy water that I insisted on it being served at one of my playdates. Then Daddy sneaked the last dregs
- Weight Watchers Refreshing Rose Wine - 2 ProPoints for a small glass, but you know, Mummy doesn’t do small glasses.
- Weight Watchers Ginger & Lemon Cookies – Mummy made the mistake of bringing the box out with her at school pick-up. We all had 1 packet of 2 cookies each for snack, 2 ProPoints. She further erred by leaving the open box in the back of the car…
- Weight Watchers Cheese Nachos – this was the only product that Mummy wasn’t too keen on. She said they were a bit dry. They were delicious with some guacamole though!
- Weight Watchers Salt and Vinegar Crinkles Crisps 2 ProPoints – mmmmmm. Mmmmmm. So yummy she ate 3 packets in one go!
- Weight Watchers Petit Pains 3 ProPoints – my brother and I will deign to eat vegetables in a minestrone soup, provided we get freshly baked bread to go with it. They were delicious!
- Weight Watchers Hot Chocolate 1 ProPoint for a delicious steamy mugful. This is probably how she has managed to lose that pound!
Mummy has renewed resolve, and will be engaging more frequently with her WeightWatchers tools. All in all, she has had plenty of support in the way of delicious WeightWatchers products. The only problem is that they are actually very nice to eat. Far to nice to share with Mummy!

Hehe, very funny. That’s the trouble with low fat foods, you do have to be careful how many of them you actually eat!
