A-Z of Me

If you are a regular reader of this blog you will know pretty much everything there is to know about me. However, I have been asked some questions by Mum of One  around the alphabet. Now I know my A-Z extreemely well, being a speed-reader and all, so let me see if I can conjure up some lesser known points of interest around the Glib Girl and Bug:

A is for Anorak: Do you have a sad side? Well, my right side is the one I sleep on, so that must me my happiest, right? Ergo, my sad side is on the left! Not sure about my anorak though.

B is for Body: What physical attribute would you most like to change? Easy! My hair. I want it long again. No, wait, then it gets in my food and hurts when mummy ravages it with the hairbrush. Cut it short again. Ohhhhhwuh! Can I grow my hair long?

Celebrity: Which one would you most like to date and why? Justin Beaver. Obviously.

Debut: Tell us about your first ever blog post. What made you start blogging? Ok, well I had this amazing dream, about winning Strictly Come Dancing in the school hall. Simultaneously the Bug had a nightmare about a black hole. I totally solved it for him – I rock as a dream therapist. So I just had to write about it!

Error: What’s been your biggest regret? Reading new library books by fairy light after dark. I go to bed at 7.30, which is way too early – I could easily stay up reading until 10.15. Mummy caught me once and took all my library books back to the library as a consequence. You can see more about my problems with reading here.

Funny: Who is making you laugh? The Bug. Watch this space for a meme featuring some of the comical things little brothers and sisters say.

Grand: If you had one right now, what would you spend it on? Moshi Monster cards – you should see how much they are asking for a rainbow foil Iggy on Ebay!

Holiday: What’s your favourite destination? Corsica. They have mermaids there who write actual letters and have them delivered to you by squirrel (‘cos they can’t walk what with their fishtails and everything). Don’t they Mummy?

Irritate: What’s your most annoying habit? Moi? I dno… Mummy, why are you winking?

Kennel: Do you have any pets? No! Mummy, can the Bug just have one teeny little wafer-thin kitty? Pleeeeeease?

Joker: What’s your favourite joke? The one that makes you laugh every time you hear it? ‘Ahem…. Why do wizards paint their shoes yellow? So they can hide upside down in custard.’ Mummy doesn’t get it. She never laughs.

Love: Are you single, married, engaged, etc… I am engaged to be married to Justin Beaver. And Callum. And John, because Callum broke up with me on the playground last week. And Daddy.

Meal: What’s your ultimate starter, main and dessert? Garlic bread, macaroni cheese, eton mess. Mummy’s going to Dinner at Heston soon – I hope they have it on the menu ‘cos it’s her favourite too. The Bug’s would be chilli squid, mushroom ravioli and passion fruit brulee.

Now: If you could be anywhere right now where would you be and who with? On that Disney cruise ship thing with Mummy. No, Daddy – he’s got all the money.

Off Duty: What do you do in your spare time? What’s that? I’m too busy with all my hobbies. But if I had any I would read.

Proud Moments: What are you most proud of? My brother. Much as I profess to dislike him, and call him poo poo face, I would do anything for him and woe betide anyone that picks on him in the playground. I have been teaching him to read and am always thrilled when he gets something right.

Queasy: What turns your stomach? Prawns – the Bug loves them and chases me with them 🙁

Relax: How do you relax? Erm… isn’t that what grown-ups do? I have no need of relaxation, I can keep going all. Day. And. Night 🙂

Song: What’s your favourite song? Paparazzi by Lady Gaga – I have a great dance routine.

Time: If you could go back in time and relive it again when would you choose? The very first time I watched the parade at Disneyland. I was beside myself with joy. By the time the princesses came round all I could do was scream ‘It’s Cinderellyyyyyyyy!’. It was magical.

Unknown: Tell us something about yourself that no-one else knows. I think I have said this before, but I would like to be Stella McCartney when I grow up. I do great dress designs!

Vocal: Who is your favourite artist? Lady Gaga

Work: What’s your dream job, and are you doing it now? Dress designer, and yes. Here’s one I did earlier >

X-ray: Any broken bones? None yet, but I work on it every day.

Zoo: If you were an animal, which one would you be? A pony, so I wouldn’t be told off for eating sugar lumps.

Right, that’s my literacy done for today. Time to tag someone else….

Five Go Blogging, Frankie Parker, Dear Beautiful Boy – over to you…

This game of tag began courtesy of Real Housewife of Suffolk County. Thank you!

  1. Very very funny. I particularly like ‘I’ and I think I get your joke. I will check with the Big One to see if he laughs. Thanks for the tag too. *doffs thinking cap*

  2. E can often be heard reading his books to himself well after bedtime but it’s so cute I can’t get cross about it (until he’s a misery the next day, then I’m cross!)

By sheer coincidence, I put Eton Mess down as my fave pudding too
